Part-Time Team Member | Barista + Play Center
About STEAM Indoor Play Center
STEAM Indoor Play Center is a family-owned play and learning space for children ages 0–7 in North Canton, Ohio. We offer open play, classes, special events, birthday parties, and our STEAM Café — all designed to create a welcoming place for kids to play and families to connect.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, outgoing, and dependable team member who genuinely enjoys connecting with people.
At STEAM, there’s always something to do. During a shift, you may be making coffee, checking in families, helping with a birthday party, cleaning and resetting play areas, or simply talking with our guests and getting to know our regulars.
We want someone who is comfortable taking initiative and working independently. You should be able to notice what needs to be done and jump in without always waiting for direction.
Just as importantly, we want our team to make families feel at home. We’re looking for someone who will say hello, start conversations, interact with parents and children, learn our regulars’ names, and help create the friendly community atmosphere STEAM is known for.

• Take initiative and complete tasks independently during slower periods
• Occasionally assist with special events, crafts, activities, or other STEAM programs

• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable starting conversations with guests
